
Kristin Vitko

Kristin is the Clinical Director at The Center for Creative Healing, bringing 20+ years of experience as an expressive arts therapist and counselor. They work with children (5+), teens and adults, supporting healing through creative exploration integrated with evidence based methods. Kristin has a special focus working with LGBTQ+, gender expansive and neurodiverse clients of all ages.
Their training includes play therapy, motivational interviewing, dialectical behavioral therapy, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy. Kristin combines expressive arts and somatic approaches to integrate traumatic experiences and has worked in many settings including substance use recovery programs for adults, wilderness therapy programs for adolescents and play based child and family therapy agencies. Kristin earned their master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and Expressive Arts Therapy from California Institute of Integral Studies.
