Katie is a Resident in Counseling and a former school counselor with a strong background in supporting children, adolescents, and their caregivers. Drawing on both her professional expertise and life experience as a parent, Katie offers a compassionate and dynamic approach to counseling. Whether working with young children or adults, her goal is to help each person feel empowered, valued, and equipped to thrive.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Alabama and a master’s degree in Counseling from Webster University. She is committed to helping clients of all ages lead more balanced, fulfilling lives. With a deep passion for emotional wellness, Katie is currently expanding her skills through training and supervision in Play Therapy.
Katie brings warmth, empathy, and a calm presence to her work, creating a safe and supportive space where clients can feel truly heard and understood. She believes in the power of the therapeutic relationship and values collaboration, walking alongside each client as they navigate life’s challenges.
