Brie is a licensed clinical social worker and registered play therapist with over 20 years of experience working with children, families, and communities. She specializes in trauma, gender-based violence, and supporting Autistic and LGBTQ+ youth, as well as survivors and perpetrators of intimate partner violence and sexual assault.
Brie is passionate about making mental health care equitable and accessible. She believes that families play a vital role in a child’s growth and development, making family work an essential part of her approach. By recognizing and building on each person’s strengths, she helps individuals and families grow in a way that feels relevant and inclusive.
Brie also provides Family Reunification services – trauma-informed individual and family play therapy focused on strengthening healthy attachment and supporting the reunification of children with caregivers. The program integrates both directive and non-directive play therapy approaches, psychoeducation for caregivers, and developmentally appropriate engagement with children. Therapy targets relational healing, emotional regulation, and conflict resolution within the family system.
