We provide expressive arts therapy to survivors of Concussion, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) to improve overall mental health and wellness. These services are grant-funded and tailored to meet individual and group needs.

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) — Survivors of brain injuries in Central Virginia are finding a new way forward, through music.

The Center for Creative Healing, which first launched in Richmond, has expanded into Charlottesville with support from a state grant through the Commonwealth Neurotrauma Initiative.

“Region Ten has been able to partner with us to use their space to provide music therapy services for people with traumatic brain injuries, concussions, or spinal cord injuries,” said Anna McChesney, CEO of the Center for Creative Healing.
